Lets get this over with. Government shutdown. October 17, 2025
It seems like it’s all about points. There’ll be points for this and points for that and somehow all those points will allow the voters and the general population to just continue to think you’re a good person that’s all it is in politics.
So I work for the government well right now I’m not working I’m on a paid vacation courtesy of the United States government but yes I work for the government. I’m a government employee, a civilian employee that it’s not getting anything done for the government. That’s the crazy thing, its crazy that, lets list it out. I love lists!!

- but I still get paid.
- Does nothing like his normal work and appears to be on vacatation.
That is me and a bunch of other government workers.
The president came out the other day and said that he’s going to try to make sure that the soldiers get paid that might make you think that everything is OK with our soldiers and that our military is all just great.
Well I got news for you. Well that’s not the case right now. In the United States of Amreica, we’re really not ready to go to war if war broke out. Why? The reason that is because a bunch of people aren’t there to help support the warfighter. People like me, like all my team members are not there to support the war fighter.
Who else does this effect? There are contractors that are not getting paid that usually help and do very important tasks for the warfighter. Those contractors are pissed. They are without a paycheck. The contractors aren’t even at work right now nor will they ever get paid or they won’t ever get back pay.
One more gripe and complaint. Some of the soldier guys I worked with have not been paid last year! I was shocked to hear that one guy NEVER RECEIVED his re-enlistment bonus. What in the hell? So if you think we always pay our soldiers, you are wrong. And you might be dead wrong if that soldier wants to really fight for you, because he might not want to fight with all his will, WHEN HE NEVER GOT PAID!!!
Stop this nonsense and let’s get back to work is needed the politicians need to figure out what the funk is to get the government open again .
