mcu and electronics for disposable vape

no time to correctly disassemble. But I did take some pictures.Anyone to know what this chip is? I have some guesses, but internet search finds nothing.

i think it is the m c u as there really is no other chip that I saw capable of displaying the l c d and controlling the device.

sorry for the bad pictures and the degraded device state , just another one I found on the side of the road.

rennr8 is label on chip. Extremely low power m c u so maybe I think this is the match? Anyone confirm? Maybe a pirated version of the same pirated clone version of the same chip, but not officially renesas?

I have learned a few things about small memory chips and small microprocessor. A similar consumer product that I took apart the other day had this ee prom chip, i was surprised very small with only eight leads / connections. Only a 128 bits memory, 128 bits, not kbits. 16 bytes of memory! I think it was used for calibration of the product. So during manufacturing AA bit of memory was put in there. That the computer used to calibrate the functions, and that the c p u memory was inside the m c u. And for you a link to the memory chip is below
