I have been watching disaster documentary recently, and I have increased my household food supplies. Fear has gotten the best of me, and I just want to be prepared. My worst-case scenario is a major regional disaster. In a regional disaster (think Hurricane Katrina or larger) you will have no telecom, little electricity, and little to no heat or air conditioning.

Watching the disaster videos, people often will become desperate and commit crimes. For your household, often you want to basically be able to survive with some food and water. And number 2, you want to be able to scare away criminals looting for food.

All business, including hospitals, fire and police, will be affected. Your staff, the ones that decided to come to work instead of defending the home, are hungry and haven’t had a hot shower in a week. No one is happy. These things can happen.

Public safety and hospitals have become very reliant on electronic systems. These organizations need to practice what happens if the internet is down and all their systems are down. What do they do? How does the hospital work? Hospitals need to prepare for these disasters!!!

Hospitals rely on the Electronic Health Record. Although no one wants to discuss the features of paper charting, the fact is, in a regional disaster, you better be good at paper charting and managing patients, in some way. You will have to do it, without the sacred, all knowing, ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORD.

To play: Play the game on a raquetball court or get flat area and measure distances of 8 feet, 24 feet and 32 feet.

Use two heavy balls, prefer one 8lbs and other 15 lbs. See photo.

RULES: as a player take one of the balls and throw it as far as you can. Like bowling bowl must be thrown with one hand. Stay within the eight feet of your play area. Take one of the other balls (lighter ball preferably) and again throw it, trying to hit the other ball where it landed. You get points if the balls touch each other, or bounce off each other.
You get one point if the balls touch each other within 24 feet to 32 feet. You get double points (2 points) if the balls touch each other at all, if past the 32 foot mark.

Play with partner until one tires out. Or set a number of rounds. One with the most points win. Strong people might have to use 20 or 25 lbs balls to get a good workout and have fun simultaneously.

Fyi, A standard regulation racquetball court measures 20 feet wide, 40 feet long, and 20 feet high. In many courts will have the a eight feet.The sections are already marked, as wall board is 8 feet long. No marking are measuring needed on those! La fitness gyms are like this.

Trx heavy balls are loose weighted and do not roll well, making the game more challenging.

Go to mars and make a colony? With some more thought on the subject, I think that my mind is changed a little bit, that perhaps a man mission to mars could be worthwhile. It would be nice to see the united states work better with China, in the space frontiers.  They cannot be our enemy and our science partner at the same time.  To make mars an outpost, the effort must be global, truly global in nature and more so even than the international space station is.  

  I have significant doubts that the united states could do it alone.  

  I don’t have elon musk excitement about going to mars.  I think there are things more exciting on earth. I think there’s more exciting discoveries on earth.  

But I think you’re right, that we really would learn a lot. We could learn a lot by doing it. And I think the most we could learn is that we could understand our own biology and ecosystems better.  The mysteries of our own biology are significant.  There’s four (4) different theories on how a specific part of cell  mitosis works! You would think we would know that by now, but we don’t. We are amateurs at our own biology.

I got this on the neighbors solar city inverter. I CALLED TESLA, AND THEY CONFIRMED THE THIS IS THEIR UNIT, AND THAT IT WAS NOT FEEDING POWER TO the house or to THE GRID. With the owners, okay, I just go went ahead and hit the escape key.And the unit unlatched and did the test again.And this time it was okay, and appeared to go back into operation. With a ladder, I will check the cells, if the alarm comes back.

i believe these units are made by abb. A similar unit’s technical manual is here if you want to read on it regarding error codes.

solarEdge electronics. It appears to me that vivint, the company monitors this through the communication hub that they install on the side of the house. This communication hub has a moxa computer. It appears to me. It communicates to the solar edge system via Ethernet and then probably connects through cellular or the Wi-Fi back to their system. Probably using a v p n is my guess. Fears over impact on African nations if Iran war drags on | CNN

Large price spikes have been hitting countries, including fuel shortages. The war on Iran has created global prices shocks that have been affecting areas differently, depending on how dependent they are on Iranian oil and other oil transferred through the Persian Gulf.

European Council President António Costa warned Monday that the targeting of energy facilities would be “illegal and unacceptable” after US President Donald Trump threatened to hit Iranian power plants if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened.

Without directly referencing Trump’s comments, Costa said the “targeting of civilian infrastructure, namely energy facilities, is illegal and unacceptable.”

The escalation of this war is not for any peaceful ending, it is so that Iran an be dissolved as a country, no matter how many children, widows and elderly die in the process. It appears clear that is the roadmap, as infrastructure bombing of the country continues. This is a crime and needs to stop.

There comes a time when taking a stand for what is right, stop saying excuses. We are all tired, low on money, and stretched thin.

The voices need to speak and it is essential for a functioning Democracy. I see our Democracy slipping off the edge of chaos into the abyss of fascism.

History shows that leaders who lie and act like they are for peace, while getting ready for war. The USA discussed and negotiated with Iran just recently, and started bombing the country during the negotiations. More history? Prime Minister Chamberlain of England returned with a presumed “peace treaty” signed by Hitler; which as we all know; was a ruse to buy more time to increase the war machine the Nazis were building. Donald Trump is a liar, a sick person, and a war monger. He schemes with other countries like Israel to form war plans and aggression. It is plain and simple! His hate-speech racist rhetoric has made that quite clear; as well as his declaration that he’s a “nationalist”.

The playbook has been clear. Lie to the people about peace, to get the vote. Get into office, then lie about making peace and dealing peace with other countries. Lie that you might even get the Nobel Peace Prize. Then make excuses on why we attacked another country for no reason. It’s only obvious if you look at the big picture, the whole thing is a scam. The man is a liar.

He says:

what we’re seeing is an aggressive assault on a foreign country. This is also an assault on reason. There’s really no reason anyone needs to attack that country, so there’s a media assault on reason. Is it the government tat’s pushing the media to say these things? It’s an assault on your intelligence. When someone tells you that by nature, a certain type of people are evil or are hostage takers. It’s a disrespectful to your intellect. For this assault, on reason to create fake reasons on why these people need to die. Why they need to be why they need to suffer. There are no reasons, so they create fake reasons. Fake reasons like the the people by nature , are bad people. Give the media reasons to stop doing this. Stop watching TV, don’t watch certain publishers and media outlets that make fake reasons on why people are evil and why people should be attacked.
