in a previous post, I was fascinated by the components of human blood, and how they look nothing like most illustrations of blood. I did these photos with immersion microscopy, yet I did not use oil immersion. Instead, I simply put the microscope lens directly into the specimen of water blood mixture, so there was no air refraction. What I am still curious about is the spherical shape of the blood. I need to do more tests with hypertonic and hypotonic solutions to confirm the shape of my fingertip blood.

Commentary: I think this is an unjust war. There was no reason to begin bombing another country. Israel and the US are both working together to steal a country’s resources! If you bomb infrastructure, it is the same as stealing money right from the country’s treasury. It is very similar. Any economist (or engineer) knows that infrastructure is terribly expensive for a country. Destroying it, well, why? That is theft. It is armed robbery from the people.

The US wants refined uranium that IRAN made, the MOST EXPENSIVE substances on Earth. Oh, and we will destroy that uranium? Not likely. COMMENTARY: My take on this? The idea is the constant voice of the good versus evil will eventually make all believe that Israel and US are good, all other are evil. The moves are coordinated with the United States? Bullshit!! The narrative?
We can win! Together, we will rule all! I don’t see exactly the reason why we have been so close and cozy with Israel, but we definitely share the same bed, we caress each other and whisper sweet things at night. Love is in the air! ❤️

Pesticides role in crop production?
I am learning some of the true role of pesticides in crop production. The thing that I learned is what? I learned that pesticides use is not just about keeping pests off the leaves of your plants. Some farmers, like me, believed that. Just as important, perhaps more important, is the role pesticides play in killing invertebrates in the soil. The myth is that these bugs like earthworms are needed for crop production. It is a half-truth.
Continued pesticide use will get pesticides into the soil. Killing white grubs, which are the larval stage of beetles, will impact crop production. We knew this in 1948, see this patent on pesticide use in the soil: US2596929A – Plant growth improvement – Google Patents
In the Ethylene Bromide patent, details show how the pesticide reduces white grubs and other plant damaging insects, with the result being much stronger plants.
Is there alternatives to keep soil productive, without pesticides? Can you have strong plants, without pesticides (poisons) like Ethylene Bromide? I have experience farming, and my answer is yes. I also understand that it may take a good amount of effort to monitor your soil for pests and keep it productive for your plants. My experience is with grapes, and it takes a good amount of work to make sure the soil is the condition the grapes need. I am sure there are ways to limit pests like the white grub using natural soil conditioners. The easier solution for some farmers would be applying the pesticides.
If you buy organic produce this may not concern you. It is incredible difficult task to only eat organic produce, so I assume that 99% of the population does eat some produce made with pesticides. It’s important to know what effect pesticides have on crop output. It is not trivial, the amount of time and money saved by the farmer in using pesticides. Meaning the amount of crop yield is significant, it could be much lower without pesticides. This does not mean that I as a farmer agree with pesticide use in all of our crops. I don’t believe in chemical use in every farm. There is significant risk of other natural ecosystems that exist in the farm and nearby the farm. I am just putting out a fact regarding output of a crop.
In researching this, I found that one concern with USA pesticides use is the single qualification factor. There is only one factor, or hurdle, that pesticide approval needs, which is, at present, only the European honeybee. The EPA assesses risk to all soil organisms using the European honey bee as a surrogate species. This is ridiculous simple way of identifying the lethality of a pesticide to the environment. This is something the USA needs to improve.

freedom of speech
I remember a discussion with someone how good freedom of speech is. So good in America. So good, this free speech. And it is true; we all need free speech.
My concern is that this is becoming unequal, and leaders have more freedom of speech.
Let’s look at something a leader in the USA said. During his prime-time address to the nation, Trump said, referring to Iran: “We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks, we’re going to bring them back to the stone ages, where they belong.”
So we all have the freedom of speech to say we are going to kill people and blow up people? Often this will get a person under investigation. Your security clearance will be revoked. You might get a visit from a detective. This is true. Things in 2026 the year of the war mongers, it appears that freedom of speech is not free for everyone. It is becoming clear that certain people think they have more freedom than we have, that they are above the law, above any regulations, in fact, they believe they are kings, dictators. This is not freedom of speech for all; this is freedom for the few.

i really like the united states, but this is the truly the first time i’ve truly felt, did.The united states is not something that represents what I believe as a person. COMMENTARY: I think the US President, saying that quote about destroying a country, putting them into the stone age, should give a good case for removing the president, as he is not a moral person. And also he should have his security clearance immediately revoked.

chip detector, metal
Chip detector | Aerospace | Eaton
better way to detect metal particles. I see and read about it. I read about engines that use these, aircraft engines. Sometimes good, other times not so good. Chip warnings ignored and fatal outcomes. Anyone have experience with these?
I had an idea.

This is a patent for metal chip detector (by Pratt and Whitney) US10705038B2 – Systems and methods for detecting chips in fluid of aircraft engine – Google Patents
Notice the “chip size” object pointing to the indicator? In the drawing above. The improvement needs to be “chip mass” which is the mass of all the chips in the fluid or transmission. I have not seen how even chip size is reliably measured.
Is there another way? Of course! Not taking credit for this, just something I found. The idea that I read about used radioactive marking on the metal gears, and when the oil becomes radioactive, you know the gears are wearing fast. Great idea, perhaps not widely used because of radioactive fears.
